Customize your menus and splash page. You can control which menus are shown, which is useful when the software is used across different departments on your production floor.
For example, if personnel are using the Unisoft PCB viewer for board inspection, you can simplify things by removing any menus they don’t need in that department.
You can also add custom splash page text
that shows when the software starts. For example: "UNISOFT VIEWER FOR
USE IN THE INSPECTION DEPARTMENT
TIP: If the Unisoft PCB assembly
(PCBA) viewer is being used on the production floor, it’s a good idea to
remove the SAVE and SAVE AS options from the FILE menu. This prevents
someone from accidentally overwriting your “golden” .F2B file.
To remove SAVE and SAVE AS from the FILE menu, add the following lines to the MARKUPX.INI file. To find out where the MARKUPX.INI file is located go to https://www.unisoft-cim.com/markupx-ini-and-markup-ini-location-and-backup.html .

Below is a brief explanation of how to customize the menus and splash page.

In the MARKUPX.INI file, the section below is a list of controls for menu
items that can be added under the [TailoredMenus] section. This includes
more detailed controls for turning off specific menu items within a menu. If
you want, you can also just disable the entire menu instead of controlling
individual items.
The default setting for these menu items is =Y,
which means they are automatically turned on even if they are not listed
under the [TailoredMenus] section. In other words, you only need to add an
entry if you want to turn a menu item off, or if you want to set a custom
splash screen message when the software first starts.

TO USE: Most menus can be modified or removed,
with the exception of some items under FILE, VIEW, and SHOW.
To modify
the menus, go to the MARKUPX.INI file. To find where it is located, go to:
https://www.unisoft-cim.com/markupx-ini-and-markup-ini-location-and-backup.html
Next, in the MARKUPX.INI file, under the [TailoredMenus] section, insert the
menu control you want. Examples are below.
(Note: If the [TailoredMenus] section is not already in your MARKUPX.INI file,
you can add it manually at the top of the file.)
To remove, for example, the Quote/Quality menu, insert the following:
